Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD), is Ohio's premier organization dedicated to furthering the issues of economic development for women. Through our programs, other services and seminars, WELD provides women with specific tools and skills to enhance their individual economic status. In addition, the organization advocates for corporate strategy and public policy that support economic equality for women. Our efforts will help mobilize women to become more active participants in the leadership of area businesses, civic organizations and government.
WELD brings together women and men who are interested in learning more about ways in which to further their individual careers as well as share their experience and expertise to help other women. Guests are welcome to attend these meetings as a way of getting to know about WELD and what we have to offer.
