When WELD was created, things we kept hearing were:

• "Companies would have more women in top leadership if they could find them,"
• The same three to five women's names were always mentioned when it came to providing capable candidates for top positions in the community,
• Women typically will not toot their own horns.

Consequently, each year, we take the opportunity to honor a diverse group of twelve women in our community who have lived the WELD values by supporting the leadership development of other women, giving time, talent and resources to their community, and/or supporting the growth of women-owned businesses.  These women are featured in a calendar and celebrated at one of Central Ohio’s premier events undefined the Women You Should Know Calendar Reception.

Central Ohio has numerous extremely talented women who deserve recognition for all they do for others and are quite ready to move to the next level leadership.  Just look at all of our calendar honorees to choose from!
