General Interest Programs Committee – Plans & presents 3-4 programs of broad interest to members and non-members of WELD

Special Interest Programs (Corporate) Committee – Plans and presents TBD number of programs, open only to WELD members, on specific topics of interest to women in medium sized and large corporations/organizations

Special Interest Programs (Small Business) Committee - Plans and presents TBD number of programs, open only to WELD members, on specific topics of interest to women in their own businesses or in very small organizations

Keynote Event Committee – Plans, presents, and follows up on the annual keynote event

Women You Should Know Calendar Committee – Plans and executes the annual Women You Should Know calendar
***NOTE: all of the above committees work very closely with each of the committees listed below.

Creates and communicates the value proposition to corporations/organizations of supporting the development of women both from a leadership and an entrepreneurial perspective

Offers you the opportunity to expand your presentation, relationship and business development skills by calling on corporations seeking their financial support of WELD

WEBSITE & TECHNOLOGY TOOLS – Deborah Bosner, WELD Board lead (technology@weldoh.org)

Supports strategy for communicating WELD’s programs and products to existing and potential members / sponsors by identifying and assessing WELD’s database, electronic communication, website, and event registration needs

Identifies WELD member needs, assesses requirements for WELD’s next generation website and technology tools, identifies potential tools and service providers, and directs ongoing improvements

MEMBERSHIP GROWTH AND RETENTION – Barb Smoot, WELD VP (membership@weldoh.org)

Develops and implement strategies to recruit new members and retain existing members

Enhance engagement of new and existing members

Identify strategies to engage “Women You Should Know” and coordinate with other committees to execute strategies

Supports WELD by providing financial information and advice for the Board/organization
